Our Suggestions for "A Drive" (the leaflet in your Studio has route descriptions and what to see on the way)
An easy day - Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit about 40 miles. Time for a boat trip and the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition.
Loch Ness Circuit about 70 miles. The quiet South side of the Loch. See the Falls of Foyers and walk on the shores of the Loch.
Skye Road, Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye Bridge about 110 miles. Tolls have been abolished thanks to the SNP.
Glengarry Circuit about 40 miles. High viewpoint over Glengarry.
Plockton about 110 miles return. Can combine with Skye Bridge and Kyle of Lochalsh. Pretty National Trust conservation village made famous by TV. Take a boat trip and see the seals.
Glenelg Ferry to Skye, return via bridge about 120 miles. Last turntable ferry in Scotland. Very picturesque way to get to Skye with super views across Loch Duich.
Kinloch Hourn - the longest cul de sac in Britain (22miles) about 40 mile round trip from Lann Dearg. Real remoteness. Just lochs, mountains and wildlife.
Our Advice Don't try to cover too much distance. Take your time and make the most of the Highland scenery.
