Getting Here
Finding Us
If you are driving from Inverness, follow the A82 through the village and continue about 300m until you reach the bridge over the river. Immediately after the bridge turn right into the Dalcataig Road. If you are coming from Fort Augustus, shortly after the 40 signs the road sweeps to the right to cross the river. Turn left into the Dalcataig Road immediately before the bridge.
Lann Dearg is the 4th house on your left, standing a bit above the road; you will see us after about 200m.
Using your Sat Nav
We find that visitors who rely on Sat Nav for final directions are often mis directed owing to the large Post Code area. We suggest you use the directions here (also on our Confirmation) once you arrive in Invermoriston.
Walking the GGW
If you are walking from Fort Augustus, before reaching Invermoriston, the route leaves the track and follows a path descending steeply through the trees to join the metalled road. Continue along the road to the right for about about 300m before reaching Lann Dearg on your right. If you are walking from Drumnadrochit, continue through the village and cross over the old bridge. You will see Lann Dearg in front of you. We are at OS grid ref 418 165
